This Swastika is a geometrical figure and an ancient religious icon from the cultures of Eurasia, where it has been and remains a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian and Chinese religions.
The name comes from Sanskrit and denotes "conducive to well being or auspicious". In Hinduism, the clockwise symbol is symbolic for surya (sun), prosperity and good luck, while the counterclockwise symbol is symbolic for night or tantric aspects of Kali.
